Day 2 of my Dollar Tree Craft Week is an $8 3-Tier Serving Stand. I have wanted a 3-tiered stand for a long time but haven't found one that I really like or that was a price I am willing to pay. I saw this
DIY Cupcake Stand recently but didn't think I didn't want to use white plates. I googled and found
this tutorial for a clear glass stand and knew it was what I wanted.
3-Tier (cupcake) Serving Stand
3 plates of choice $1 each
2 candle sticks $1 each
E6000 Glue $3 (from another store)
I didn't want to mark the center on the actual plates, so I make a paper template for the bottom plate. I was able to eyeball the other 2 due to the design. Something I did different than this tutorial was to turn the candle sticks upside down. That gives more surface area for cupcakes or other goodies. The glue really stinks so I glued it out in my garage.
I just *LOVE* my stand! It looked so festive with our yummy Christmas snacks at our party on Saturday. It's washed and sitting on our dining room table now and I just smile each time I see it!
