It's been quite a while since I posted a recipe that I got from my friend, Hilda. This is the last of the recipes I got from her over the summer. Now she's gone to Florida for the winter, so I won't be getting any more recipes for a while. In case you missed the other family recipes she shared, here they are: Rhubarb Cream Cake Coconut Poke Cake Vegetable Salad Dip.
I love recipes like this that take a cake mix, add ingredients, and elevate it to something extraordinary. This utilizes a devil's food mix and adds in more chocolate, pecans, and caramel. Not exactly shaped like turtle candies, but just as tasty!

How easy is that? I've never seen this recipe before. I've made it a few times and gotten rave reviews.
I served it with a little caramel on top and it was divine. I just love the combo of chocolate and caramel, with the crunchiness of the pecans. YUM!
